About the book
From the Pelasgians to King Zog’s kingdom: the history of the Albanian people in four books.
Book I begins with the Pelasgians, “our first origin”. Book II turns to the Illyrians, Epirotes and Macedonians, Book III to the centuries under Ottoman rule – from the Battle of Kosovo in 1389 to the national awakening. Book IV leads from the Congress of Manastir in 1908 through independence in 1912 and the London Conference of Ambassadors to King Zog’s Albanian state in 1939.
